Abstract

Abstract A novel Pd-catalyzed cascade cyclization of o-alkynylarylbromides with dialkylalkynes for the construction of the multisubstituted dihydrocyclopenta[a]indene derivatives has been reported. The reaction proceeds efficiently through a four consecutive carbopalladations with alkyne and alkene moieties.
