Patterned photonic crystals for novel applications

Abstract

Using patterned photonic crystals fabricated by Autocloning, novel functional elements, devices, and systems are realized. Applications of axisymmetric polarization, photoelasticity imaging, and spectroscopic imaging are introduced.
