Oxygen nonstoichiometry and defect equilibrium in La2-xSr xNiO4+δ

Abstract

Oxygen nonstoichiometry of La2-xSrxNiO 4+δ (x = 0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) were measured by high temperature gravimetry and coulometric titration. La2-xSr xNiO4+δ shows oxygen deficient and oxygen excess compositions depending on the Sr content, temperature, and oxygen partial pressure.
