Oxygen- and Ca-concentration dependence of Cu-NQR/NMR in the antiferromagnetic and the superconducting Pb2Sr2Y1-xCaxCu3O8+y

Abstract

Antiferromagnetic nuclear magnetic resonance (AFNMR) of the Cu(2) site and the Cu-NQR of the Cu(1) site are investigated as a function of excess oxygen, y, in Pb2Sr2(Y1-xCax)Cu3O8+y. We confirm the re-appearance of the antiferromagnetic order of the Cu(2) moments and the change of the valence of the Cu(1) site with hole-doping introduced by extra oxygen in the superconducting Pb2Sr2(Y0.5Ca0.5)Cu3O8+y.
