The chert, limestone and basalt accumulated during the period of 100, 30 and 20 million years, respectively. Place of their accumulation was under oceanic condition without influx of terrigenous sediments. Most of the limestone are clastic. The limestone, together with underlying basalt, collapsed and rock fragments were fluxed into deep sea floor mainly by gravity flow where chert and other pelagic limestone were deposited. The other basalt extruded over and intruded into pelagic sediments.-from English summary
