Ordered mesoporous silicate materials from a template of triblock copolymer (II): Synthesis of film and application for gas sensor

Abstract

Size controlled silicate mesoporous film was successfully synthesized using poly (ethylene oxide)-poly (propylene oxide)-poly (ethylene oxide) (EOlPOmEOn) triblock copolymers as a template. The mesostructure and d spacing of the mesoporous film can be controlled by the syntesis conditions. The hexagonal mesoporous film can be obtained using Pluronic P123 (EO20PO70EO20) triblock copolymer as a template. The characteristics of mesoporous films were investigated in XRD. A surface photo voltage (SPY) system has been applied to the Metal-SiO2 mesoporous-Si device structure (MIS) to investigated the characteristics as a NO gas sensor.
