N2 - eduroam has spread worldwide as a defact standard roaming system between research and educational institutions. VPN such as PPTP is often used when roaming users need to gain accesses to the local contents of their home institutions. However VPN has some problems in the speed, the efficiency, and the connectivity of communications. In this paper, we propose an IP address optimization system using terminal ID to solve the problems. In addition, we introduce a prototype system and show evaluation results. As results, we have confirmed that the proposed system let users access to limited contents of home institution and high-speed communications.
