Abstract

In this review, we describe the structure, physical properties, and electronic structure of halogen-bridged one-dimensional (1D) NiIII compound [Ni(chxn)2Br]Br2, which is one of the mostly studied 1D strongly correlated electron compounds. We also introduce recent progress of our study of NiIII compounds.
