Abstract
We substantiate preferential formation of anatase in a titanium oxide film deposited on a quartz-glass substrate by pulsed laser deposition technique. The key factors to obtain anatase films are reducing the repetition rate of laser pulse down to about 1 Hz and annealing the films at a lower temperature.
