Abstract
In order to re-examine the phase diagram, ZrO//2-Y//2O//3 co-precipitation powders were sintered and annealed at 1600 degree C(1873 K), 1700 degree C(1973 K) and 1800 degree C (2073 K). The compositions of tetragonal (t) and cubic (c) phases were analysed by EPMA. These data do not contradict X-ray data by Ruh et al. , but it is considered that the solubility line of the t phase should be drawn in a different way. The anomalous shape is discussed from the viewpoint of tetragonality and the abnormal t-c transformation.
