Observation of cyclotron resonance on LaBi

Abstract

The cyclotron resonance (CR) measurements on a single crystal of LaBi were reported. A high-quality single crystal of LaBi was synthesized in a tungsten crucible by the Bridgman method for the purpose. Two CR absorption lines corresponding to effective masses of 0.33m0 and 0.65m0 were observed.
