Abstract
CeO2-ZrO2 solid solution catalysts are very effective for the selective synthesis of propylene carbonate (PC) from propylene glycol and carbon dioxide. Dipropylene glycols and poly (PC) are expected to be formed as by-products, however, they were not detected at all in the analysis by gas chromatograph and FTIR.
