## Abstract

We have found new equilibrium configurations of nonaxisymmetric boson stars in the framework of Newtonian gravity. Two new families of solutions with different symmetries have been obtained. For these solutions, distributions of scalar fields are antisymmetric with respect to the following parity transformations: (1) [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] or (2) [Formula presented] [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] where [Formula presented] [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] are the Cartesian coordinates. Therefore the scalar fields of our new solutions are necessarily nonaxisymmetric. Our results show that, for two families of solutions, the gravitational mass [Formula presented] is related to the particle number [Formula presented] by the following relations: (1) [Formula presented] and (2) [Formula presented] where [Formula presented] and [Formula presented] are the mass of the scalar field and the Planck mass, respectively.
