NMR study of the phase transition around 5 K in YbSb

Abstract

An NMR study of 121Sb in the heavy-fermion compound YbSb has been performed to investigate the unusual phase transition around 5 K. A distinct broadening of spin echo spectra below 5 K is observed. The spin echo spectra below the transition temperature are slightly asymmetric. The hyperfine coupling constant is estimated from the K-χ plot.
