New organic semiconducting materials for flexible TFTs

Abstract

Recent advances in the development of small molecule-based organic semiconductors potentially applicable to flexible TFTs are presented. The authors have mainly focused on air-stable, p-channel semiconductors including dinaphthothienothiophenes (DNTT) and benzothienobenzothiophenes (BTBT). The presentation will include the synthesis, characterization, TFT characteristics, and structure-property relationship of these materials.
