New optimum dispersion design method for zero-dispersion and dispersion-flattened photonic crystal fibers

Abstract

We propose a new method for designing zero-dispersion and dispersion-flattened photonic crystal fibers (PCFs) precisely at any central wavelength. The designed PCFs are promising for applications to high-speed optical communication at new wavelengths.
