New comprehensive calculation of muon initial sticking to 4He in dtμ fusion

Abstract

The initial αμ sticking probability, ω0 s is revisited by a new sophisticated calculation which does not assume the three approximations taken usually in the literature calculations. It is found that magnitude of ω0 s increases very slightly by the removal of the approximations.
