Multiscale simulation of cluster growth and deposition processes by direct simulation Monte Carlo method

Abstract

A cluster deposition model to study cluster growth is proposed. The model is used to compare morphologies, such as packing density and surface roughness and growth phenomena obtained by monomer or cluster deposition, respectively. The growth is simulated using the direct simulation Monte Carlo method.
