Abstract
This paper describes a fabricating method of multi-color and flexible optical filters with patterned photonic colloidal polymer gels (PCPGs). We demonstrated micropatterning of two types of PCPGs in a flexible and a single layered microchannel (20 mm-by-20 mm), and confirmed that those patterned PCPGs reflected their structural color. Our patterning method could be effective to realize an optical filter for full color and flexible reflective displays, and could be applicable to fabrication of hydrogel-based chemical sensor array.
