Abstract

A large magnetic anisotropy was achieved around the DyIII ion, and a single-molecule magnet behavior has been observed up to 35 K for the dinuclear complex DyIII-ZnII. The magnetic relaxation occurs through three different pathways depending on the temperature and the presence of an external dc field (see scheme).
