MoM analysis of patch antenna array using fast algorithm for solving matrix equation

Abstract

An iterative algorithm to solve the matrix equation of the method of moments (MoM) analysis for the array antenna was proposed. As such, the numerical examples have shown that the CPU time have greatly reduced compared with a direct method i.e., the Gauss-Jordan method. Thus, the novel iterative algorithm was expected to enable the MoM analysis to be applied to large-scale array antennas.
