Abstract

We have explored how molecules respond to an intense attosecond pulse train in the extreme ultraviolet and soft x-ray wavelength region and discovered for the first time molecular Coulomb explosion is an ideal phenomenon for characterization of an attosecond pulse generated by highorder harmonics.
