Excited states in 12Be were investigated by measuring alpha-inelastic scattering of 12Be. New excited states in 12Be were observed at 10.9 MeV and 11.3 MeV in a decay-energy spectrum of the 6He+6He final channel. Spins for these levels were determined to be 0 and 2, respectively, from the angular distributions of the inelastic scattering to these excited states. The observed states may be members of the rotational band with a 6He-6He cluster structure.
