Abstract

Passivation and transpassivation films on Mo in 1 kmol/m**3-HCl (pH 0. 0), minus H//2SO//4 (pH 0. 1), and minus Na//2SO//4 (pH 6. 0) solutions have been investigated by in-situ modulation spectroscopy. The constituent oxides have been identified.
