Abstract
A new method of magnetic recording using granular materials is proposed. In this study, hysteresis and remanence curves for granular materials are obtained by the Monte Carlo method to investigate micromagnetic behavior during the recording process. The relation between micromagnetics and ferromagnetic distribution is studied and the feasibility of the use of granular materials as a recording medium is clarified.
