Abstract

The methods used in the model tests were sublimation of naphthalene into a nitrogen stream, evaporation of pure liquids into a nitrogen stream, and absorption of ammonia from an ammonia-nitrogen stream into water. The results are correlated in equations for average Sherwood numbers.
