Abstract

What is the characteristic feature of microstructural evolution in ceramics and graphite under cascade damage conditions? A review is given of the current state of the authors' studies regarding this question, including characteristic microstructural evolution under isolated point defect conditions and under concurrent conditions of cascade damages, isolated point defects and/or electronic excitation.
