Microscopic theory for the Josephson plasma in high-Tc superconductors: Interplay between the Josephson current and the c-axis optical phonons

Abstract

A microscopic theory for the interplay between the Josephson current and the c-axis optical phonons is presented. The dielectric function including the phonon effect is derived. The phonon peaks appearing in the optical conductivity is broadened as the superconductivity develops.
