Microscopic laser patterning of functional organic molecules

A new laser patterning technique known as laser induced molecular implantation technique (LIMIT) was developed. The technique allowed successful implantation of fully functional organic dopant molecules space selectively on undoped polymer films using laser light activation. The technique was implemented on C545 molecules, and used in the fabrication of organic electronic and optical devices.
