Micropatterned HeLa cell culture on PEG monolayer-coated glass substrates

Abstract

The micropatterns (∼5 μm) of HeLa cells were maintained for more than 4 days on a glass surface modified by the corresponding pattern of a covalently attached polyethylene glycol (PEG) monolayer, even in the presence of serum proteins.
