Abstract

A standard treatment method for postoperative recurrence of uterine cervical cancer in the vaginal stump has not been established. To reveal patterns of care by radiation oncologists, the Northern Japanese Radiation Therapy Oncology Group performed a survey using questionnaire through the Internet. The results showed that, although the pattern of care differs depending on the equipment used for treatment in each institution. There is a lack of uniformity even regarding methods of radiotherapy. We are investigating retrospectively treatment outcomes of radiotherapy for postoperative recurrence of uterine cervical cancer in the vaginal stump to establish a standard treatment method.
