Abstract
We have reported that honeycomb-patterned films can be prepared by casting the solution of polystyrene and amphiphilic polymer 1 (Fig. 1) on a glass substrate by using condensed water droplet arrays as templates.[1] Moreover, polymeric films possessing pillar structures were fabricated by simple peeling of the top-layer of honeycomb-patterned films with Scotch tape. [2] Metallization of the honeycomb-patterned films was performed by electroless plating method including the Pt/Pd sputtering process as a catalyzation process.[3] In this presentation, we demonstrate that a brief metallization method of honeycomb-patterned films without sputtering process. All-wet deposition method enables us to give wide surface honeycomb-patterned metallized films easily. Surface morphology of the films was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM).
