N2 - The study of streamer and avalanche size can give us information on the spatial distribution of the charge on the electrode. It is necessary to understand the charge spread to design and develop a new tracking/imaging device with RPC. We have measured the size of streamer and avalanche induced by cosmic rays in the RPC using the submilli-size readout strips. In the configuration used in this study, the streamer size was measured to be about 10 mm. This spatial distribution somewhat depends on the gas mixtures.
