Abstract
In this paper, we have investigated the properties of the cyclotron resonance and its harmonics for two-dimensional metal-oxide-semiconductor-type systems. More specifically, we treat impurity scattering to lower order and include the dynamic screening effects associated with the electron gas beyond the random-phase approximation. The results may be applied to experiments in extremely strong magnetic fields.
