Magnetovibrational magnetization dynamics

Abstract

We propose a system (a small cantilever with a magnet) that can display a coherent motion of magnetic and mechanical degrees of freedom. The coupling of both fields leads to splittings in FMR spectra. Applications for sensors and actuators as well as for microwave generation are suggested.
