Abstract
The magnetoresistance of 82Ni-Fe+M (M = Ti, V, Cr, Mn, O, Cu) alloy films has been investigated at room temperature. The anisotropic magnetoresistivity ratio Δ ρ{variant}/ρ{variant}0 decreased by the addition of third element regardless of its kinds. The spin-orbit coupling is the most likely mechanism to explain the anisotropic magnetoresistivity of these films.
