Abstract

We have succeeded in growing a single crystal of LaCu2 and have done the electrical resistivity, magnetoresistance, de Haas-van Alphen effect and specific heat experiments. The Fermi surface is found to consist of three kinds of closed surfaces and a multiply-connected one, which are well explained by the FLAPW band calculations.
