Magnetohydrodynamic stability in pulse EMC

It is made clear why the pulse EMC (Electro-magnetic casting) makes the surface steel quality become good from a point of view of fluid dynamics by means of magnetic-hydrodynamic calculation in free surface problem. In order to obtain the good surface quality, the free surface profile should follow the pulsasive electromagnetic force and fluid dynamics is stable and uniform for rectangular axis. By means of the pulse mode in EMC operation, the fluid dynamics makes stable and uniform the unstable flow in continuous EMC operation and the free surface profile maintains convex.
