Magnetization of Al-Pd-Mn quasicrystal in high magnetic field

We measured the high field magnetization process up to 30 T at 4.2 K and temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility in Al70Pd20Mn10 single quasicrystal. Above 5 T the magnetization showed a clear anisotropic behavior and is almost saturated in the magnetic field of 30 T. The Curie-Weiss behavior was observed in the temperature range between 40 and 150 K for the temperature dependence of susceptibility. The Curie constant, temperature-independent susceptibility and Curie temperature were determined.
