Abstract
We have performed magnetization measurements up to 55 T on Sr14Cu24O41 which has simple chains and ladders of copper ions. The magnetization curve is reasonably fitted with a theory based on an isolated dimer model with a remarkably small number of spins. The result is discussed in comparison with those of ESR and neutron scattering measurements.
