Abstract
Magnetization measurements of R2Cu21O5 (R=Y, Lu, In, Sc) 30 T at 1.7 K. Two successive metamagnetic transitions are observed below TN for all R2Cu2O5 compounds. A new model to explain these transitions is proposed. The exchange interactions and the anisotropies obtained by this model are discussed.
