Abstract
The disaccommodation and the uniaxial magnetic anisotropy induced by magnetic annealing were studied for rapidly quenched amorphous Fe 100-xBx (12≤x≤25) and Co100-xB x (17≤x≤30) alloys. The disaccommodation exhibits a maximum between 150-250 °C for Fe-B and 50-250 °C for Co-B alloys. The compositional dependence of both disaccommodation and induced magnetic anisotropy constant exhibits an anomaly at x=20. The origin of disaccommodation is discussed in connection with the induced magnetic anisotropy. Further, the compositional dependence of induced magnetic anisotropy is discussed based on the compositional short-range ordering.
