Abstract

Lanthanoid phthalocyaninato complexes of Dy2(obPc)3 (1) and Tb2(obPc)3 (2) are shown to be a single-molecule magnet. The relationships among the magnetic relaxation properties of 1 in a direct current (dc) magnetic field in comparison to 2 and the electronic properties of a cast film are discussed.
