Abstract

Various heat treatments were used to produce Fe//3 Al alloys of various degrees of order, and the magnetic anisotropy constant K//1 , permeability, and coercive force H//c were measured. Whereas K//1 was the same for lattice ordering at room temperature, H//c strongly reflected differences in lattice regularity. Samples with a high degree of order exhibited good soft magnetic properties.
