Abstract
The magnetic phase transition in the antiferromagnetic La(Fe0.89Al0.11)13 compound has been investigated by magnetic and electrical resistivity measurements. Two kinds of field-induced phase transitions have been confirmed from the data of the field derivative of the magnetization at high temperatures. The temperature derivative of resistivity exhibits a strong divergency besides a minimum characteristic of gap-type antiferromagnets. From these data, the magnetic phase diagram in the temperature-field plane has been established and a new antiferromagnetic phase has been found.
