Magnetic impurity states and universality in Gd monopnictides

Due to simple defect structure and strongly reduced d-f exchange interaction, a simple model for magnetic impurity states of weak polarization with weak interaction between them can explain all the anomalous properties of samples with defects consistently. Universal behavior of specific heat was observed including samples with defects and explained well by the classical spin model.
