Magnetic anisotropy of Co-5d transition metal alloys

The magnetocrystalline anisotropy (MAE) of Co-5d transition metal alloys was systematically investigated. It was found that the MAE sensitively depends on the number of 5d electrons of additive X rather than crystal lattice parameters.
