Abstract

An expression was derived for the optical electric fields of two linearly polarized pulses in the density operator formalism. For demonstration purposes, the method was applied to the enantiomer selective preparation of pre-oriented or pre-aligned H2POSH from its racemates in both simple, one- and two-dimensional models.
