Abstract
Neutron scattering studies on localized magnons in a two-dimensional mixed antiferromagnet Rb2Co0.95Mn0.05F4 were performed using the time-of-flight spectrometer LAM-D installed at KENS in KEK. A local mode associated with the manganese ion impurities is observed outside the host spin-wave band. It shows damping and a renormalization of excitation energy with increasing temperature, which indicate the presence of magnon-magnon interactions even in the localized magnons.
