Local control of subclinical region with a dose of 40 Gy/20 fractions postoperative concurrent chemoradiotherapy for head and neck cancer

Abstract

The concurrent chemoradiotherapy was performed for the patients of postoperative head and neck cancer. A dose of 40 Gy was delivered to the subclinical region, and an additional dose of 20-30 Gy to the high-risk or recurrent region. No local or regional relapses were found in our follow-up period.
